Recommended Montessori & Creche, Kinsale

I have two children attending Little Rascals Creche full time since I returned to work in June and I have to say I am 100% delighted with the facility and the care provided. The facility was custom built for purpose as a creche and therefore ticks all the boxes regarding indoor and outdoor spaces. The care provided is second to none, and always has the personal touch. The wide range of indoor and outdoor activities included in each day definitely keep the little ones happy. Top class healthy food is provided which is a big plus for me. Saves hours in the kitchen after a full days work! Finally, my kids run in the door to the creche every morning and give out to me each evening for collecting them too early!! ... To me that is enough to display how good it is!

Our children have been in the full-time and after-school care of Little Rascals for the past 6 years. We could not recommend it highly enough. Our children are very happy there. The staff are professional and very caring and there is not a high turnover. The facility is purpose-built, very safe, secure and has lots of age-segregated play equipment. For us a major advantage is the provision of good hot meals for the children, as it allows us more family time in the evenings after work. The after-school care looks after collection from school, hot dinner, help with homework, half-term care and there are plenty kids of the same age to mix with. We have always found the manager very approachable and easy to deal with. We have recommended others to go there and they are equally happy. The Little Rascals creche really ticks all the boxes for us.

My kids have been cared for by the wonderful team at Little Rascals for the last 5 years. The girls who work there are lovely - caring, engaging, and fun, with just the right amount of discipline. They’re all good communicators, with infants, children and adults alike, combining a caring atmosphere with a business-like ability to report daily activities thoroughly. Fiona seems to have a real knack for hiring people who love children, rather than just want a job! They really get to know each child’s personality and I love the fact that you give your child directly to his/her carer and not an anonymous reception desk.

The facilities are perfect, with plenty of bright, clean space (with separate sleeping rooms) and two playgrounds, one with a big garden. It’s such an added bonus that Little Rascals provides the food – my kids certainly eat a much better variety of food in crèche than they’d agree to eat at home!

With two children enrolled in Little Rascals from the small baby stage to Montessori, I can provide a thorough review of the caring, loving and fun times my boys have had. From the very early months, the little ones are cared for and encouraged to learn and develop in a nurturing and safe environment. My kids bounce with enthusiasm into their "school" every day, which is the best indication of how Little Rascals provides such great care and tremendous fun. The teachers are well trained and are adored by my kids. The teachers' attention to the little things, their progress and development provides me with much assurance that they are in the right place. When situations arise where you need flexibility with drop off times, holidays and mid term support, there is always help and flexibility. With arrangements for after school care and even school collections, Little Rascals has enabled a parent's working week work smoothly and happily.
