Whilst every endeavour will be made to place your child, submission of our pre-registration form is not a guarantee of placement. It is advisable to apply for a place for your child at the earliest opportunity, so as to avoid disappointment.

ECCE (Early Childhood Care & Education) FREE YEAR:

FREE PRESCHOOL/Montessori year. The introduction of the free pre-school year is a major positive step forward for Childcare in Ireland.

The free Pre-School Year scheme was introduced in Ireland in January 2010 and is being administered by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. Under the scheme, all children aged between 3 years 2 months and 4 years 7 months in September of the relevant year are entitled to a free pre-school year of appropriate programme-based activities in the year prior to starting primary school.

Little Rascals, is delighted to offer places under the ECCE scheme, as we believe that each child deserves the best start to their education and development.

There are no hidden costs or charges attached to the Little Rascals free pre-school year. The Government payment will cover all costs.
